Ive been on a gluten free diet now for 2 years just rcently Ive been getting on going oral thrush that will not go away ive been to the GUM Clinic sexual health as at the time I couldnt get a gp appointment. I was told just to take prescribed medicine which I didnt take as I know it has something to do with my diet. I try eat healthy ...3 meals a day...including dairy. My thrush shows up in the mornings and at night time. I have just ate some single cream with strawberrys then looked at my tounge and its now fluffy white covering and the sides of my mouth is nipping.? And I do feel kind of full bloated belly. Could I now be tolerant to Dairy?? I know I should go see gp but ask for which blood tests?

Hi there sorry to read about your thrush, you need to take all sugar and yeast out of your diet including fruit. Manuka oil, put a few drops in water and rinse your mouth out before bed after cleaning teeth. Int he morning after breakfast gargle again. This will do the trick. Oops no wine etc also. Wishing you well.

Cut out sugar and if no relief cut out all direct sugars esp fruit juice. Look ip anti candida diet. Good luck x

It might not be thrush, other conditions cause similar symptoms and one in particular causes soreness inside cheeks with certain foods. You need to establish this with you GP, thrush can be identified by a test.

You are still quite a new coeliac, perhaps you still have difficulty coping with lactose if your villi have not recovered. Have you seen a dietician? Worthwhile before you exclude more foods from your diet or spend a lot of money.

Caprylic acid capsules can be taken to get rid of fungal infections in the gut, as well as avoiding sweet stuff. It helped me at one point where I was over-sensitive. Giving up dairy products temporarily also helped and I can eat dairy products without problems now after weaning myself back on. A probiotic might also help, as a follow-up. Good luck.
