Yes mine ache / feel sore- i used to get a lot of kidney infections before I was diagnosed (for c 15 yrs) and had tests which established it was dilated and inflamed was routinrly checked for 15 yrs but when I was routinely re scanned about 4 yrs ago my kidney was normal again consultant was a bit surprised. Thinking about it now this scan was about 2 yrs after being gf?!

One of the things that happens to me when I eat gluten is that I get a squeezing pain in the liver/gall bladder area. My liver function tests were below range on the gluten challenge at the end of last year, and I have zero alcohol tolerance now.

Basically I think my liver struggles, which has a knock on effect on my gall bladder, and it does so when I'm not absorbing nutrients due to the inflammation in my digestive system.

I think I tend to be low on zinc, and that's what I run out of first when my digestive system slows down. Apparently the enzyme that was low on the liver function tests and the enzyme that you need to process alcohol are both zinc dependent.

Your mileage may vary of course. Liver function is pretty complicated and requires so many different nutrients... lots of possibilities there.

I have had abnormal liver function tests on and off and yes I also get liver pain, not necessarily when glutened but it is heightened if this happens..
