In the USA they have been working away to understand more about why some people who don't have full blown Coeliac Disease feel so much better on a gluten free diet. As we all know it is estimated that 1% of the world population has Coeliac Disease; in which the auto-immune system attacks itself if we ingest gluten. Yet there's been a huge number of people both with and without other auto-immune diseases (like Thyroid, Diabestes, Lupus, Arthritis) for which going gluten free has lessened or completely removed their health problems. So what's going on? Could it be that those with IBS, Fibromyalgia, extreme fatigue etc could benefit from going gluten free?

Well the video below provides a handy summary of the latest research. Just bear with it until the ads disappear at the start!
