Has anyone else had a problem with
Dextrose
. It says it is 'Gluten Free' but I have eaten a product with this ingredient and I have swelled up like a balloon all around my tummy, abdomen and hips and it hurts.

Steroids and blood-sugar...
This helped explain a lot and I began to deal with it in the same way that my wife and kids do, by eating a few
dextrose
tablets or half a banana.

Switching to home hemodialysis
Unfortunately my clearance has been falling over the last four months and treatment increase in the amount of

Update 8.0 - Next chapter
As you may remember from previous posts, my HCT has been creeping steadily up. It looked initially like 175mcg Besremi was going to work, but the last two CBCs done outside of my hematology office indicate otherwise. 02/22/24 HGB=14.6, HCT=45.6, NEUT=1.19, LYMPH=0.73 03/19/24 HGB=15.5, HCT=47.3,

Anyone experienced HbA1c increasing after starting T3, and increasing more when Levo reduced, does it settle , is it temporary
hoping to find out, if it will eventually right itself when thyroid issues are treated optimally. I think/hope it might but would be good if others have any experience references that could back up my intuition. I was px venlafaxine early 2019, had never had any blood glucose issues before that. Lipids

SIBO and antibiotics
l am now feeling so out of my depth. Having been screened and cleared for obvious causes I have seen an NHS Consultant who says I am positive for SIBO. I have tried to work with low fodmap diet previously but without much success. My test with lactose was “equivocal” but a following one with glucose

High glucose
Hey everyone, One more post😊has anyone experienced elevated glucose with being hypo? The range here in Poland is 70-99, I'm generally around 102-107, but this morning was 112! My diet is still healthy, haven't changed a thing. When on higher doses of thyroid meds, my glucose was lower, around 93.

Sugar Alcohols Ruined My Health: Learn from My Mistakes
Given the number of members who are intolerant to Teva levothyroxine, this video might be of some interest. Many suspect it is the mannitol content of Teva levothyroxine that lies behind the intolerance. After all, there were also many complaints around the world as Merck have slowly move from lactose
