⁹Eye training exercises

Having failed DVLA FVT was reading around web to look for tips on helping to pass next time, some sources say that eye training exercises can help improve awareness in the peripheral field.

Been doing these for last 4 weeks, no idea if it's helping or will ever likely to but when your desperate you will try anything.

Anyone tried this and had any success no matter how small it was?

I don't believe any eye exercises have been scientifically proved to be effective, whether to avoid the need for reading glasses or to improve peripheral field. But anything that heps concentration and relaxation may be beneficial. As I have suggested before, with the VF test blink frequently and breathe normally. Were you shown why you failed? The performance centrally can fail you as well as the peripheral losses.

Thanks for your reply Sorshup.

No nothing was said by DVLA about test itself, it just said I didn't meet their standards for driving.

Specsavers said FT was borderline but obviously they don't make final decision.
