Hi Floki, it was good to see your post. Did you have a good Easter and hopefully at least one egg ? All is good with me thankfully 🤞. I need to make an appointment at the opticians to see if my prescription has changed since my trab but I've been enjoying not having to think about my eyes and haven't made one yet !!!

Have you actually heard anything from the eye clinic or are you still waiting ?

Glad you're still ok, all fine here, my wife and I had 4 Easter eggs each, and i am not a great lover of chocolate, so she is very happy lol ! Not heard from the hospital as yet, despite ringing them, so going to try to get an appointment with my GP to see if they can chase it up. Take care x

That's a lot of eggs I'm very envious ,I had 2 and a bunny 🐰. Definitely ring your GP that's a shocking length of time since your last appointment was cancelled. You shouldn't have to be chasing it up but it's appears to be the only option these days. Good luck with GP x

Sorry for the delay in replying, I didnt get any notice that you had replied, but yes I spoke to the receptionist by phone to ask could the Doc chase up, still waiting for a reply though. Hopeless !

It does appear hopeless at the moment and it would be easy just to give up Floki and I'm sure part of you would like to do. Just be a pain like I am and keep phoning and surely you will get the Dr to chase it up for you. I take it phoning the actual hospital has just been a complete waste of time ? Have you tried PALS I think it's called,I've seen other posts with it being recommended ,it's patient liaison and they can help with appointments, I assume your hospital would provide you with their contact number. I'm sorry I don't know anymore than that as I've not had to use it. How are you feeling,totally scunnered I'm guessing ?

It shouldn't be like this but at the moment having to chase everything up is the norm.

Yes will do, to be honest I really cannot be bothered at times, to try to even see a Doctor you have to be losing a leg, arm in a sling and have 3 boils on your bum, then it would only be a telephone consultation ! 😩😩🤕
