There has been research to say that high blood pressure can affect eye pressure especially if left untreated. At your next eye appointment your eye pressure will be taken again to see if there is any reduction in pressure.

If they keep cancelling the appointment you should call the eye secretary with your concerns. They can then check with the consultant and get back to you. If you don't get any joy with that route you can speak to the PALS department (Patient Advice and Liaison Services) or the ECLO (Eye Clinic Liaison Officer) who will be able to help you.
