Hello everyoneJust thought I'd pop in to show you this special cutie foal born at Whipsnade Zoo. He's a breed that is classed as extinct in the wild and Whipsnade is involved with re-introducing them to Mongolia. What wonderful work!. Hope your all as well as possible. clavicle/collar bone swelling - YouTube Vid
hi there, A few of us have been talking about swelling in the pits of the collar bone. Instagram must’ve been listening 👂🏼 as this expert popped up in my feed. apparently this area is called the terminus, left and right so different jobs. I’ve watched this YouTube and immediately had gunk running

2nd Liver Biopsy result
My 2nd liver biopsy states I have advanced bridging fibrosis with a score of 4/6. Which I think means F3. My previous fibroscan was F2 (9.2kpa). I'm not seeing my consultant for 13 weeks. I know I'm not supposed to post test results but I would love to hear from anyone at F3 & how they are coping with

Rib pain after breathing test
On 22nd I took respiratory test. Ribs in area of LUNG SURGERY in 2019 are very painful upon effort; front, side, and back. I'm taking tylenol and rubbing creams with little improvement. Any one experience this after test?

Experiences with urso, ocaliva and bezafibrate
Hi everyone!I was just curious about your experiences taking a combination of udca, ocaliva 10 mg and bezafibrates. Does it improve the itching? Did you notice any unwanted side effect from bezafibrate, e.g. in kidneys? Thanks for sharing and stay healthy and motivated!

The words this week I want to define are
alkaline phosphatase.
Alkaline phosphatase (ALP)
is an enzyme that is released by the bile ducts cells ( among other organs). The release of ALP is a marker of stress or injury. So the more injury or stress to the bile duct cells, the higher

symptoms made clearer
maybe I should make my conditions clearer. intussusception is when the lining of the bowel folds back on itself and makes an inverted U shape which then makes it very difficult for anything to pass through the bowel unless it is very soft, so making constipation or blockages , Like a tyre inner

Kidney update and possible gallstones
Hi everyone, it’s been a hot minute since I posted about my kidneys! A few weeks ago I found out I had leaky protein, but I saw the specialist (who was pretty thorough) and he’s not worried about it. And if he’s not worried, I’m not worried! We’re gonna review in 3 months’ time. I’m so glad it turned

deranged LFT and Gallbladder perforation
hi, hoping someone may have experience like mine. I had a perforated gallbladder whilst in hospital with Sepsis back in November. Because of my weight and existing issue the team didn’t want to operate as keyhole wasn’t an option so would have involved open surgery. So I was put on antibiotics for 6

ERCP - Failed
Anyone had a failed ERCP? The specialist did not manage to put in the stent and will try again later this week. The whole experience is like Mr Bean but that's another story. Summary - relative presented with high bilirubin - had 3/4 blood tests and still high (in a period of 3 weeks) - ERCP scheduled

pain upper right side
I started with a terrible pain in my upper right side into my back with a gnawing sensation to the upper right front about 4 weeks ago. Liver function tests were not normal but an ultrasound concluded no gallstones and liver, gallbladder, spleen all looked normal. Still in pain, which starts in the evening

Gallstone
Back in June I went on a work trip to London , which I will state was one of the most stressful time I have experienced. I was staying in a hotel room and I awoke early hours in the morning with V&D , luckily I manage to drive home safely however nausea was terrible. I then had V&D for 10 days. At this

Ercp - upset stomach after eating four days later.
I had an ERCP procedure on Thursday to remove a stone from my bile duct. This was said to be successful and the consultant noticed they spotted very dark bile sludge draining away. Up until Thursday my bowel habits were normal. But since Friday lunch I have had an upset stomach after almost every

Gallstones
Hello again 👋 Well I didn't expect this! I'm just out of A&E after a gallstone attack. Excruciating, until the morphine kicked in. I've been given strong painkillers and antibiotics. I'm a bit miffed, as I've been following a Low Fodmap, anti- inflammatory, pescatarian diet for as long as I can remember

Another round of Covid vaccine in UK …..
News of a new variant and adapted Covid vaccine is in the UK media to-day, raising the question for me whether to get it or not. I’m nervous as I recall my PMR starting 2 days after my very first jab (Pfizer) - my system was in a very stressed state at the time. I am currently half-way through 5-week
