Kyphosis treatment?
I'm worried I may never be able to get the
spinal
fusion
for fear my bones won't get strong enough. So my question is if I don't end up getting the
spinal
fusion
, will the back brace be enough to keep me upright and not let my curve get any worse?

Does spinal fusion help take away severe pain from kyphosis due to broken vertebrae? (T10-T12)
My doctor is saying that I need to get a
spinal
fusion
because I broke T10 through T12 back in 2011 so over 12 years ago and it is caused severe phasis due to my osteoporosis and from never getting it surgically dealt with at the time.

Anyone had spinal fusion on T10-12?
They're recommending a
spinal
fusion
to fix this or otherwise to live in a brace forever hoping the kyphosis curve won't progress any more than it already has. I'm wondering which is the better option if I can even get the surgery someday.

DEGENERATIVE DISC DISEASE, FORAMINA STENOSIS, FAILED BACK SURGERY
I was offered
spinal
fusion
. I had a
spinal
fusion
in 2018. I recovered from the surgery but the back pain and leg pain in d form of pins and needles continued but this time a lower dose of gabapentine made me to be pain free. I eventually felt much better and stopped the gabapentine in 2022.

Denosumab vs Bisphosphonates
My metalwork did not hold, so following a further 2 fractures, I had a T4-L4
spinal
fusion
. I had a very prolonged hospital stay of 5 months, due to sepsis, and a further 3 months in a spinal rehab unit. During this time L4 at the bottom of the construct fractured badly.

Heartened to know I am not alone in the struggles caused by pramipexole
A complicating factor for mr is that I have an 8 level
spinal
fusion
which was the original reason I was put on gabapentin - nerve bundlling and damage from that.

I had a
spinal
fusion
on July 17 for L4-5 due to Spondylolisthesis. I feel like I’m recovering as well as I can expect from the surgery. My hemoglobin dropped to 10 post surgery so I have been very tired but I am moving around fairly well with restrictions.

9 years PMR and counting!
My most compelling issues now are the fairly rapid deterioration in my joints, hip replacement 2014, fractured pelvis 2015, rotator cuff repair 2022 and now
spinal
fusion
2023 with bilateral knee replacements in the wind.

tortuous world of pain
My history started in 2019 with my first
spinal
fusion
, my life just went downhill from there. The restless legs and nerve damage happened in 2022, I have been living with nightmare since then, only got given temgesic in March 2023 and that was for post op pain not restless legs or nerve pain.

I've had Cervical
spinal
fusion
and discectomy, bad COVID, pneumonia, chronic pain and cough, since my diaphragm is numb and I can't breath deeply, I'm now incontinent, because I cannot FEEL my urges till it's too late. I can WALK, I've followed all instructions.

frustrated with restriction of naproxen
After an unsuccessful
spinal
fusion
surgery in 2001(and 2 more since) I’ve been taking naproxen for about 15 years and get that together with a long list of other pain meds every 3 months,I’ve now been told I can only have 2 month supply of naproxen at a time which is messing up my repeat meds routine

bilateral ovary date January
decapeptyl injection to confirm it’s ovary and endo because I have a large scar across stomach from
spinal
fusion
so could also be scar tissue. Injection brutal side effects so think going ahead with ovaries and tubes out and she said she can remove superficial endo but not if more severe.
