I had a elective operation; had 3 others before, this time I got bacterial meningitis from the spinal anaesthetic.

i was in a coma gcs 8 and treated with antibiotics , the hospital have failed to recognise the after affects I suffered, neither did they offer any answers to questions, for example, how did this happen? Does anybody else have experience of the same thing, it is apparently very rare!
