Dear community members,

Following the update we shared a few weeks ago, we have been in good discussions with Fungal Infection Trust and we are pleased to announce this community will not be archived and is remaining open.

This community will have a new focus of specifically supporting people affected by aspergillosis and rare fungal infections. As a result, you may notice some changes to the community including a name change to Aspergillosis and Rare Fungal Infection Support, which will be coming into place next week.

Fungal Infection Trust will be remaining as the partner organisation of the community to support members. Please note, Fungal Infection Trust is a UK organisation and can not offer support or information to those living outside of the UK.

Excellent news. Would it be possible to use Health Unlocked to send members a short survey/poll on what they know about antimicrobial resistance? We are fast approaching WAAW 2020 - World Antimicrobial Awareness Week - . Many people are not aware that there is increasing resistance to anti fungal drugs.

HealthUnlocked's main purpose is to provide a platform for people to access safe peer to peer support. To safeguard the community environment, we don't allow any promotions of surveys that haven't been previously vetted by HealthUnlocked. However, you are welcome to share a post in the community to raise the topic of anti fungal drug resistance and start a discussion.

I meant a survey/poll designed by the Fungal Infection Trust i.e. from a trusted source. There is a lot of confusion, not to say ignorance about drug resistant infections and the forthcoming world week is a good opportunity for HealthUnlocked members to be involved.
