Could I have candida?

I have had 3 thrush episodes in the past year plus I have ringworm and I'm having abdominal bloating and gas and wind issues. My hair is thinning and I feel extremely tired all the time. I'm worried I may have candida. What should I do? Should I see my gp? Or shall I try the candida diet?

There are a number of reasons one could have candida 'overgrowth' Candida is a yeast which can become pathogenic when the environment suits it. This can have many causes.

I took topiramate for migraine & had terrible malassezia issues. I lost half my hair I had white spots all over my upper back & spreading. Then I developed fungal folliculitis.

Soon as I stopped the drugs the symptoms faded.

Look at any medications you're currently taking & their reactions when taken together.

Boost your immune system.

Ask your G.P for a blood test to rule out health issues like infections causing imbalances.

A urine test for proteins.

Use head & shoulders or ketoconazole shampoo. Leave on for 5 mins at least before rinsing. Wash hair every day or at least every second. Sleep with your head on a clean hand towel & with cotton pants.

Wash clothing with antifungal liquid like halo specifically designed to kill fungus.

Obtain a good candida mix from Luckyvitamin to cleanse system

obtain a spray vit B12 with q10 green apple to deal with fatigue quickly.

Obtain Lindens pre & probiotics MAX to rebalance your gut.

This is what I did.

Three episodes of thrush in one year suggest that you have an ongoing problem that should be relieved with treatment. Go and see your GP and talk all of these symptoms over.
