Thrush and bleeding

Hi I am 22 years old and I have had reoccurring vaginal thrush for 6+ months. I keep going back to the doctors who have given me passery tablets, the canistan cream and now oral tablets. However, this last time i noticed bleeding on my discharge. Now it it quite heavy bleeding, I am waiting for swab results but it is starting to really worry me. Has anyone else had the same issue or know what to do?

Some bleeding is common with thrush but as you have described heavy bleeding it is time to seek medical advice. Thrush is often surprisingly difficult to get rid of needing several courses of medication.
