Good Scan News!

I'm having an excellent response to treatment :) Tumor size is down to 1.1 cm with an SUV uptake of 2.8, you can barely see any brightness when looking at the scan so the tumor is mostly scar tissue at this point. No metastasis, no FDG uptake in lymph nodes and only a slight pleural effusion with 0 metabolic activity. WBC and Hg counts are coming back up. Slight increase in one of the tumor markers but we will watch and wait to see if there is a pattern. Yesterday was infusion #7 of Cyramza/Taxotere. New side effect for me during Cyramza infusion of back spasm. Stopped the drip until they settled down and then resumed at half rate. Staying focused on reaching NED (No Evidence of Disease)!

On another note, I did a radio interview for the 'Free to Breathe 5K Run/Walk' to take place Oct.1 in Denver. Feeling blessed to have the opportunity to advocate for research funding and lung cancer awareness!

No. We are in Lake Jackson Texas. We are packing and putting furniture up high. There are 2 huge rivers and a very large creek across the street. When all water starts to flow this way my house may be in danger. I have lost 5 pounds since Harvey blew in. Last Friday. I'm exhausted but........guess what😊, God has this under control and. People from all over this country are here helping us in Houston and in our little town. I hope that God gets the glory for all the good that people are showing. I truly am thankful and proud of Texas people❤️ God Bless y'all
