You seem to have a positive attitude. I have the same diagnosis and have been fighting the fight for a year now. Good luck to you.

I have been fighting stage IV lung cancer the second time for over a year and have had good luck on Tarceva during that time. My first diagnosis was over 4 years ago when had a lobectomy to remove the lower left lobe which had a tumor. After the lobectomy I had no further lung cancer until last year. Good luck with your treatment. I will be praying for a good outcome.

So sorry about your diagnosis. You beat it once before so you can do it again. Just keep the faith. I was, diagnosed with malignant neoplasm of lower left lobe and left bronchus on January 12, 2016. Surgery was done on Feb 2, 2016. Surgery was unsuccessful . I chose not to have chemo but I did have radiation . The oncologist gave me 6 months to one year. So far, so good. I have some pain it is controlled with a Percocet .

I am 74 years old. I ask that you pray for me and my family. I certainly will be praying for you as you start another fight.

Praying and keeping you in my thoughts. Cancer is such a "thief"! It steals everything possible not only from the patient but also from the family and friends of the patient.

You beat lung Cancer 16 years ago and although this seems unfair. You seem to have the attitude it takes to beat it again. Thank you for sharing.

I like your attitude. Since your breast cancer 16 years ago, there have been many advances in treatment and many different treatments available. If one doesn't work there are others to use. I wish you well on this journey. Keep up your fighting spirit. This is a wonderful site for support and information,so I hope you continue to post.
