Betsy,

Cancer is a disease that affects the whole family. I can't begin to imagine how devistating this must be for your whole family. I send hope that the surgery and radiation rids him of the pain and that Tarceva gives him a long progression free survival period.

Betsy,

Tarceva is quite likely to bring your brother a lot of relief from his symptoms if he tested positive for an EGFR mutation. He may need additional treatment for the metastasis to his brain. Sending my best hopes for a good response to Tarceva and greater comfort.
