Feeling blah.

Hello all, it's been awhile since I updated on here. I go back to the oncologist on Monday. For b/w and another Sandostatin shot. Doc, said he is increasing the dose, guess my chromagranin is not going down much, if at all. I've got Gout in my left foot, it's usually my right, guess it's giving the right a break, lol. I've been really depressed the past few days, my mind is all over the place. Most everyone on here is so upbeat, even while going through so much pain/uncertainty, I need to take a cue from them,let you know how the dr, visit goes, fingers crossed!

Fingers definitely crossed. Will be thinking of you until we hear more. And remember, no one is upbeat all the time, we are human. Be patient with yourself, you've handled a lot and you deserve a pat on the back. So sorry things feel out of whack right now, just the gout would make me sad. Take care of yourself, hug a loved one or holler at the stars - whatever feels good to you right now!

Please do, hollering is free and when the neighbors complain - just scream into a nice thick pillow. lol

Hi Gibdonnalee; Sorry you are going through so much, life can be hard at times but we must stay positive and work though it. I will keep you in prayer that Monday goes well, make sure to tell the doctor you are depressed as that effects the over all body. I do talk therapy weekly for all my issues and I have found it to be very helpful, this way I don't have to add another drug to the long list I already take.

I don't know anything about Gout, have been told by people who have it that is very painful and that could be causing the depression.

Thank you,Lorbic. It's the not knowing, I think, that is the worst. Nothing to do but wait. Didn't need gout on top of everything else.

Donna why didn't you tell me you were feeling that way. I know i've been going through alot lately but enough about me. Tell me about your cancer tell me how your feeling. I'm here for you I know it hasn't seemed that way and i'm sorryI know your depressed but do me a favor I want you to keep fighting don't give up. I'm here for you no matter what i'm going through i'll be here for you. I do care about you. That little guardian angel is watching over you I firmly believe that.she will be there and so will I. Jo

Jo, no need for you to be sorry about anything! I know you have your own issues too. I know I can count on you , so please, not to worry. I just don't feel to good, my joints are all hurting for some reason, couldn't sleep last night from the pain. So of course the mind doesn't let up, all kinds of thoughts. I'll keep in touch.
