August Free to Breathe Survivor Spotlight

Marlene Nadler-Moodie is our featured survivor of August. She was diagnosed with stage 3B non-small cell adenocarcinoma in June of 2012, and her symptoms started with a dry cough.

Since diagnosis, she's gone through IV and oral chemotherapy, as well as radiation.

Shortly after her diagnosis, she looked for ways to get involved. She decided to join the San Diego Free to Breathe Walk because she was disturbed by the lack of research dollars and the unfortunate stigma in lung cancer.

She says she is proud to be a Free to Breathe advocate, but we are even more proud to have her as part of the Free to Breathe family!
