Hello my name is Janet. I am a three time ling cancer survivor. I have had two surgery and one chemotherapy and radiation. I was first diagnosed in 2000. I am grateful I am still here. I deal with a great deal of pain. It does get me down at times. I am grateful I am here and get to spend time with my grandchildren. Most times my family pretend nothing is wrong with me. To hard for them. I thank God for my two daughters. They are always there for me. I also have Jesus as my personal Savior. He has kept me through it all.

#@twin60. Did you have 2 surgeries because surgery was no longer an option on the third. I have had 2 also but was told that if a third cancer is found then surgery is not an option. I am curious what your pain is. From the surgeries or the chemo. I have 2 granddaughters that I adore. I was first diagnosed in 2007 & second one in 2011. I just saw my oldest gran graduate from high school. So consider myself blessed. If it s any help my family totally ignores the fact I had even one lung cancer, never asks hoe I'm feeling. Good future for you

Hello. Thank u so much for the support. I coukdn have surgery the third time because of the location of the cancer. I believe most of. My pain is coming from my surgery. Do u have any pain?

My 2 surgeries were right side incision under right breast around to back the second was left lung with incision mostly on my back sort of like a j then around my side to under my breast & even this many years later I have a hard time with bras because I am very sensitive where my incisions are. I'm not sure the different pains I feel in my chest is from the surgery but I suspect it is. Where was your 3rd cancer. If I get a 3rd in my lung I can't have more surgery so much of my lungs is gone but I never asked my dr if I could have surgery if it spread to other places. I'll ask that my next visit

I have a hard time with bras, too. Snap in the front, snap in the back, difficult to figure them out. My wife usually helps me get hers off. ;-)
