Why do I have a high pulse?
My question is, should I have been taking
vitamin
B9
(folate) supplements as well as B12 injections? I also have Hashimoto's thyroiditisand vitiligo I live in Switzerland, but I struggle to find a doctor or specialist who has studied pernicious anaemia.

I’ve been on Methatrexate long term and tolerating it well thankfully, I’ve just recently started taking a multivitamin/mineral and that’s the only other thing I take (apart from folic acid ) I’m now curious to know what others who are on Methatrexate take and is there anything that’s best avoided?

Extremely weak legs
Morning everyone, I have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis in most joints in my body. Since Christmas I have had extremely weak legs to the point now that even going from my chair to the bathroom I’m near collapsing. My legs go very wobbly and start to shake then my whole body shakes and I get breathless

First time poster overwhelmed with symptoms and considering self-medicating with bovine adrenals & NDT. Asking for advice & recommendations
TLDR: First time poster diagnosed Hashimotos and POI, investigating IBS which is potentially also autoimmune cause. Fatigue, depression and anxiety are ruining my life. Low Adrenal Index Test results so considering self-medicating with Bovine Adrenals. High TSH and anti thyroid antibodies, but low-end-of-normal

Two Experiences
1)Two days ago I went wading in the lake where I open water swim. I did not measure the temperature but it was frozen 5 days prior. The pain was not as severe as it was when I waded in very cold water in 1965. There was not the relief I have experienced since 1965. The reason is I am not in as much

MTX, fatigue and brain fog
Hi all.I've an annual (actually 16 months) review next week. First one since being diagnosed and I want to try and get the most out of it. I take MTX, 20mg weekly (orally) and folic acid 6 days a week. The MTX seems to be working in terms of joint pain and CRP is usually close to zero. I get mild

Crash after jab from different source?
I'm wondering if anyone has had issues with getting a jab from a different source. My husband normally does my jab (Pascoe 1500 hydroxo, was every 10 days but have recently gone to weekly). He was out of town so I had it done at my GP's office -- the nurse was a real snot about it because my levels (

GGT level
Hi, I was told that in 2015 I had a fatty liver from having a scan for suspected gall stones. I wasn't told much more and no advice or follow up given. Last year I started getting pain and a kind of tight feeling on my right side just under my lowest rib. Gp did some blood tests and said nothing came

Lanzoprazole and side effects
Hello, I am over 2 years past Ivor Lewis oesophagectomy and have been taking Lanzoprazole 15mg once a day, then Gavison at night. I’ve found that my folate and ferritin are low , probably caused by ppi use and wonder if anyone has managed to come off them. I know they have lots of potential bad effects

I have been injecting since July 2023, thanks to you all, I knew to check my ferritin when I felt something else was off…since no doctor thought it necessary. It was 14. Now I am on iron supplements. My folate has always been >24. However, since starting the iron, my folate has dropped to 15 (still

question about Methotrexate
Hi, everyone! My 4 years old son was diagnosed with JIA in 2023. it’s a big change to our family. We’ve been through a lot of emotions. We have been doing a lot of research online and offline. so grateful that I found this website. My son is currently under Methotrexate. The doctor told us to inject
