You say you had all your bloods done and they are OK - ummm ! Docs seem happy when you are in range - it is where you are in the range that is important. Did you have your B12 and VitD checked ? These are not automatic and have to be requested.

Low Iron can cause palpitations - as can low B12 and of course Low Thyroid.

When B12 is below 500 it can be become a neurological condition if left untreated ....

Always ask for copies of your blood test results - they are legally yours. So you can then ask questions here with more information and also monitor your own progress.

Happy to help ....

Are you on the Thyroid UK Forum here on HU ? I have been there since 2011. If I had a euro for every time I read the word * normal * - I would indeed be very rich !!

I too have a Thyroid problem - Hashimotos. I also have a B12 issue due to gut surgery in my 20's and Crohns.

Do you request copies of all your blood test results ? - you are entitled to them - they are legally yours. You maybe surprised at what you find. They so often only test the TSH which is only part of the story - you also need the FT4 - FT3 tested and the Thyroid anti-bodies TPO and Tg. We have had a deluge of new people joining after the TV programme with Dr Michael Moseley recently - when they discussed thyroid issues.

How much T4 are you taking ? it could be you are not taking enough T4 or not converting into the Active hormone T3. Without the full and correct testing you will not know the complete story.

What was your so called normal B12 result ? When we have thyroid problems we also have low nutrients - like B12 - VitD - Ferritin - folate - due to poor absorption. Even with an excellent diet we cannot always absorb well - often due to low stomach acid.

Are you on any other medications ? Happy to help :-)

I am not a Medic - click onto my name at the top of this post and take a couple of minutes to read my Profile ....
