I believe surgery is impossible but a cortisone injection is a possibility. So far the pain has been intermittent but now it is there every time I walk.I have recently been prescribed bisopropol. Could this be making the inflammation worse?

Hi, I was never prescribed any drugs for this pain but have had cortisone injections. They work for the pain, some last longer than others for some reason. It worked for me,must be worth a try.

Good luck.

Thank-you. The pain is less since I raised the heel pad in my left shoe . I was once told my left leg was shorter than my right which led to the arthritis in my right hip. I

then wore a heel pad of about 3 mm.. It is now 6 mm At least if I ask for a cortisone injection I might get to see a specialist..

thank-yiu for your good wishes Ann
