My partner was diagnosed around a month ago. He’s has quite severe depression and FBD was diagnosed as an onset of this.
We’re looking for help & support that may help him both come to terms with the diagnosis and how he can manage it. Bit also for myself and his family to help support him properly.
Like quite a few of the posts i’ve seen here, he’s been diagnosed and the discharged to just ‘deal with it himself’, we’ve had no steer on wjat we need to do to help him and are kind of navigating this blindly. This is terrifying for him, and us. If anybody can give us any help to understand this illness better or point us in the right direction of how we can best support him, it would be appreciated. He is 34 yrs old and we are based in North Hertfordshire, UK.
Thank you, Hayley

For about $220 US, one can purchase the Kindle version of "Functional Neurologic Disorders", book/volume 139 in the Handbook of Clinical Neurology. The Kindle version can be listened to via an Amazon.com Echo Dot or by the Kindle application for computers, via the text-to-speech menu option. The book was worth the money. Also, I recommend watching all of the videos at fndhope.org/fnd-specialists/ . The website neurosymptoms.org can be helpful too.
