It's been a long haul
The climb of WBC numbers started again within months and I repeated the
Fludara
treatment in 2003. On leaving the Oncology ward in June of 03 the nurse wished me well and said "we'll see you in a few years".

Can Blindness be caused by using Aldara (Imiquimod) with GCA?
My dermatologist is once again pushing Aldara (in the US, it's called Imiquimod) to help control my pre-cancerous skin "spots" (Actinic Keratosis) on my head. I have GCA, and I'm concerned because this med induces your immune system to go into overdrive against the spots, killing them, which leads to

IVIG CURE?
I had aggressive chemo with a mix of
Fludara
, Cytoxin and Ritoxin. It was not fun but I stopped after 5 treatments. It knocked my white blood cells back to normal.

Aldara and AIH
I got the diagnosis of AIH in feb 2017 and 3 year later a relapse. Both events were preceded by Aldara-treatment according to actinic keratosis. My hepatolog think that the doses of Aldara is too small. I did a Google and found one case of relapse in Autoimmine disease when a person got Aldara. I have

HPV Laser Surgery
Hi, I've had genital warts going on 5 months now. I've tried ACV, Aldara cream, and TCA treatments. Nothing has worked and my warts have gotten worse. I just had a biopsy done last Thursday. The results can go one of two ways... they're strictly genital warts and I'll need laser surgery to remove them

Melanoma as a chronic illness to manage
I've read two articles today in mainstream news that remind me that living with melanoma is for my family a chronic illness to manage. My husband continues with IV immunological treatment every three weeks (just finished round 31), has blood work every 3 weeks, CT or MRI scans every quarter, skin checks

Aldara cream or herpes?
I recently went to my local STI clinic because of a little bump I found just next to the entrance to my vagina. The nurse told me it was a genital wart and I had a couple more inside, which she froze. She gave me aldara/imiquimod cream to put on the outside. A week later, I shaved down there in order

GW that aren't going away
Hi. This is extremely embarrassing and difficult to get by with, but I've been struggling with genital warts for 4 months. I've tried everything... apple cider vinegar, Aldara, freezing, tea tree oil, Vitamin E and B-12, and nothing has worked. My warts have spread even more and now I can feel myself

Genital warts
Hi, I'd just like to hear from literally anybody who has dealt with genital warts and how they're getting on or any advice anyone has. LITERALLY ANYONE! I've been dealing with the warts for over a year now, had freezing for six months nearly every week, if not every two weeks, but it never completely

HPV warts
I've had genital warts for a year now, tried freezing and Aldara at GUM clinic for eight months and that didn't work. Tried Bazuka and Apple Cider Vinegar for a month and it's just getting worse. I'm losing hope! I need help. Will it be like this forever? I've heard the virus becomes dormant after two

Skin Treatments for Cancer Patients
As the body’s first line protection against sunlight, chemicals, and contagious germs, the skin is one of the parts of the body most generally affected by cancer treatments. The good news is that skin reactions are normally short-term and treatments are available to help dealing and fighting against

My oncologist started to talk about dropping
Fludara
part of FCR and then talked about other things that I was not ready for and so could not ask any intelligent questions.

In discussion with Dr Freireich I asked, if
Fludara
was unsuccessful, could I take 2-CDA? He said no. I then asked if 2-CDA unsuccessful, could I take
Fludara
, and he said yes. With this, I opted for 2-CDA. He went back to their "round-table" and sold them on allowing me 2-CDA.

Having used Aldara cream on tops of my feet the skin there is now thin and splits easily. Anyone else had this problem?
I have Bowens disease and this is why I used Aldara. My feet burn and itch very badly. If I scratch skin splits and takes ages to heal. Can Aldara be the reason?
