Estrogen patch to improve quality of life
Could the men here who use estrogen patches at "just to feel good" levels comment on your experience? Mr. Spouse21 will be getting spot radiation to a single spinal tumor very soon. Thanks to everyone who encouraged that instead of Pluvicto at this time. His two oncologists agreed as did a radiation

I want to thank this forum for men helping other men. I will list my experience in the hope it may help others. I especially want to thank Tall-Allen, whose advice and work on this forum is, to me, a truly meaningful endeavor, and when all is said and done, this is what life is about. I was diagnosed

Enlarged Prostate
I have an enlarged prostate and I am trying to determine if I should be taking medicines or have a procedure such as TURP. I would like to get some experiences of people that have taken Flomax or other medicines to reduce the prostate size. I have an allergy to sulfa, what makes me a little nervous about

Enhancing my urinating experience?
Guys, Several weeks ago I started experiencing slow and weak urine stream for first time since diagnosis almost 6 years ago. This, coupled with rise in PSA, triggered my oncologist to order both MRI and PSMA scan. Would appear things are progressing and got referrals to radiation oncologist and urologist

Flomax and Avodart
Greetings brothers. A question: is it safe to take Flomax and Avodart to improve urine flow? I am tired of having to get up to pee 7 or 8 times a night.

Doc and wife disagree............
...............She contends that in fact I am still full of crap......... The doc, on the other hand says "A+ on the CT Simulation Prep. Whatever you did, do it each time." First SBRT is the 14th. Starting Orgovyx and Flomax tomorrow, starving both the cancer and the gonads......so it goes. Stay

Urinary bother; is Flomax a solution?
SBRT plus ADT for 12 months after clean PSMA and 3+4, 4+3, and 4+4. Still up peeing 3 times a night after 4.5 months post radiation. (Down from 8 times). Does anyone know if Flomax will help? Or are there other solutions? I don’t want to take flomax if i don’t have yo as it screws with BP, but i will

UCLA Viewray Sbrt summary
I just finished 5 sessions of Sbrt at UCLA with Dr. Kishan as part of the FORT trial. I’m 4 days out and feeling the usual SE’s: urgency, retention. Taking one .4 mg of flomax. The last two days I’ve had some GI “bother”. 4 of the 5 sessions were 25-30 minutes long, no problem. The 4th session I miss

Barrier for RA and other questions
I have been diagnosed with stage 2 PC. I am about to undergo radiation and the protocol is to insert some gold guides - I assume to help pinpoint the machine and a barrier between the prostate and rectum. I understandg these will be inserted transperenially [sic] but how will they be removed - or will

3 Months post ADT (Orgovyx) Still having hot flashes and fatigue-doing blood test in two weeks..for hopefully nadir..
Stopped taking Orgovyx May 30th .... August 30th will be my 90 day blood test I presume to see if my Testosterone is BACK TO NORMAL (I hope) and my PSA is less than .o2 ?? I understand that the Testosterone back to NORMAL is more possible in the short term (90 days) than longer term use of adt? Is

paxlovid and abiraterone
there may already be posts like this, and If there are I’m sorry, I couldn’t find them! my dad is covid positive (first time!). I read on here in the past some of you said that you can’t take paxlovid with abiraterone? He is on that, flomax and lupron. I know it’s better to take paxlovid before it
