What would you DO and what is the right thing to DO with my Bladder Cancer, wait until the BCG treatment becomes available and that’s due to shortage or just proceed with the Gemcitabine Chemotherapy treatment? The Oncologist who’s looking after Bladder Cancer is contacting my previous Oncologist who looked after me when I was treated for Testical Cancer but will proceed as soon as BCG becomes available. I need my Bladder Cancer treated now so hopefully he’ll beable to get his hands on some. How long should I wait? How quick does Bladder Cancer spread. I don’t want to wait too long because wearing men’s nappies are a bit uncomfortable.

Hi I’ve been on bcg treatment for the last 3 years so why is it not available.Gary
It probably depends on the tumour pathology doesn’t it? Which is best? There’s a worldwide shortage of BCG but there’s some availability particularly for the initial 6 weeks. Good luck and hope you don’t have to wait too long.
Best wishes for a good outcome
