My Husband Bill more or less got the all clear yesterday , he had a Cancer Tumour removed from his Bladder two weeks ago with Keyhole Surgery which had not gone through the wall of his Bladder ( non invasive ) still feeling a little sore but a good result Thankyou so much from the bottom of my Heart to the Staff at the Leicester Genaral Hospital nothing was to much trouble . Healthunlocked.com is a great site getting to know all about Bladder Cancer was a great comfort for me as I knew nothing about what we would be facing . Good Luck to all of the other people suffering Bladder Cancer there is light at the end of the Tunnel.

Bad news Bill went back to the Hospital for an update on his condition and he has got to have the Proceeder done again as they did not manage to remove all of the Tumour so we are back to square one again , we will keep strong and positive this is just a step back .

Are they suggesting any after care like BCG infusions? This cancer tends to come back at some point. My dr. said that in minor cases they would not even use BCG- mine was wide spread and first surgery was in 2012- had a follow up and they got the rest- have been doing bladder inspections and BCG infusions ever since- after next inspection, will come my 6th series of BCG, after the 7th series i will be done! woo hoo!

Thank you all for your comforting words I can now see there is a light at the End of the Tunnell , 5 years ago we lost our youngest Daughter aged 43 to Cancer seem so unfair to be going down this road again . Now waiting for a date for Bill to be admitted again some time after the Bank Holiday weekend not to far away . 🌻

Praise God for your great news and may He bless your husband and yourself with good health and much happiness, I have Bladder cancer with secondary's on the lungs, diagnosed December 2015, received Radiotherapy treatment on the bladder February 2016 and Chemotherapy April to August 2016, currently I have on active cancer in my body, I have continuing bladder issues and have a catheter and will have it for the rest of my life, I also have problems with my right Kidney which may require a stint. By the grace of God I have a positive spirit and have never experienced fear. I am so thankful to the staff and medical team at the Belfast Cancer Centre for all their care.
