I'm still in hospital, but feeling pretty good. The pains and soreness are subsiding, and walking around the ward at a gentle pace.
The doctors are visiting daily and checking my 4 bags for outputs.
The only draw back ive had was yesterday. One of the tubes coming out from my side (the Drain) snagged, and broke the stich, so unfortunatly i had a day and night of leakages, so was wet in parts for over 24 hours Grrrrrrr, but the nursing staff are amazing.
At this early stage, i would recommend, this surgery, and i will keep this post updated.
Keeping Positive : )

So good to hear you doing as well as can be expected ...I ended up with 2 bags ...one for drain as it kept leaking ...just take each day as it comes... thinking of you
ive had a little set back. i would have been going home yesterday or today, but had problems with my drain. The stich holding it in place broke, so it may have become dislodged inside, so it may be leaking inside, so am waiting for a scan today, so thats put a hold on the stents from my kidneys coming out.
But other than that all is good.
Keeping positive, keeping happy, with good company on the ward : ))
Staying positive is a great healer and is complemented by the dedicated medical team that are caring for you. Hope you continue with a full recovery and leave hospital soon. Praying for you.
