UPDATE ON CARBOOT SALE...!!!

Been and done the carboot sale this morning, with items longer required, items donated by family....

We were up at 4.30am... van packed by 5am.. "van loaned from my brother". We have made £140.00 profit after £10.00 to book stall, and £10.00 fuel in van. Result, we can pay our rent arrears off... phew....

Not bad for 6hr shift, although my feet are throbbing, it was extremely windy... and I need a bath... I feel dirty.. but it was well worth the hard work... a and mega early morning!!!

HOPE YA HAPPY NOW BARNSLEY COUNCIL... YOU CAN HAVE YA MONEY FOR YA RENT...

At least I can stop stressing now, "for another month at least

I love car boot sales too and go with my friend every Saturday. I hurt for the rest of the day but its worth it! Have been thinking about you a lot this week since I read your blog about money and I just wish I could help. It's disgusting what you are being put through! Xx

I am glad you had a good result in your car boot sale. I agree with Charlii that it's disgusting that you are having to resort to such drastic measures in order to keep your home.

I have also thought of you when I am seeing people resorting to offer exchanges on the buy and sell site on facebook.

I truly hope that by next month your luck changes for the better.

I hope you are not in too much pain.

Oh thank you Jo. I'm ok, had a good rest yesterday. Slept well all night...I'm desperately trying to find a job, I have 76 applications sent out over the last 2 months, 3 I'm currently waiting to hear back from the past week, It's so hard to find a job. I just don't know what this government expect ppl to do? xx

Thanks :), we only got in this mess because my husband was made redundant on the 1st March and the DWP, took 4 weeks to sort his claim out and send him some money. Of course the Council, took no time in billing us for rent, Council tax from the first of March!!! So we were having to live on my, £71.00 per week !!! to feed 2of us, pay for gas, electric and everything else we all have to pay for.

Fingers crossed a job offer comes our way very soon x
