Methinks a tad expensive, I certainly couldn't afford to give it a to, but if someone can, then it would be interesting to e what they made of it. Foggy x

Here's a link to a newspaper article about Gupta and his theory.

Interesting Article FyreFly ~ Thank you for posting.

As very grumpy has said it has not been researched fully to say whether it indeed has any benefit at all. Therefore there are no independent studies to support his claims. It seems very expensive course to pay for on the basis on these facts

Quote from article (Thanks again)

'Gupta's theory has been published in Medical Hypotheses, a peer-reviewed medical journal, to a mixed reception. "It's an interesting hypothesis, but it's not labtested," says a spokesperson for patient support group Action for ME. "We would like to see more scientists pulling together to research the condition and take hypotheses like this further."

The only treatments shown to have a proven effect on ME are cognitive behavioural therapy, which works to change negative thought patterns, and graded exercise, which takes care to keep patients within their own limits '

My personal opinion is that I would be very cautious of any treatments that cost claiming a cure. That is not to say in a few years his treatment if independently researched and results might show that it may or may not help. However until any research like this confirms his hypothesis, I personally would not buy & try any product that anyone claims will help.

Hmm not lab tested and way expensive ... Nope I,ll give that one a miss .. :)

I like this guy's thinking - it's scientific and convincing, but I wouldn't shell out that much cash until it's been properly tested.

What encourages me is that he is being taken seriously by his medical peers - he may just have made a breakthrough.

I am sure that his methods will be researched, because they don't involve the huge expense of drugs and manufacturing, so hang on to your panties, girls - we may have some effective treatment in the near future! We can only hope!

Afraid I can't say on here;) It probably isn't official

Lol it's getting cheaper by the minute I,ve just been talking to a friend and they have a copy which i am borowing for free so as I am not one to look a gift horse in the mouth and I am a total sceptic about such things will be interesting to see if it works for me as I don't expect it to I am the perfect subject.... I,ve been filled with hope too many times over the years to expect miracles so if it works for me then it has to be good... Will be interesting to compare notes when we have all tried it...

Or it's your lucky day or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can get some gupter stuff free on u tube. I personally think it deals with half the condition, but doesn't deal with some of the other physical stuff like mitochondrial dysfunction., leaky gut toxicity or excess substance p......so very expensive and only does half a job....but yes, interesting x

A bit like the lightening process and there's another one I can't recall the name.... They rely very much on NLP.....but this condition is not all in our heads x

The free stuff is great for understanding some of what's going on.....

Done properly I think the physical exercise stuff is covered in qi gong.

As with everything out there I'm sure some have benefited, but none have been cured.

If you have psychological issues, it's great but not for physical illnesses. I went on the Lightning Process which is very similar - waste of time and money.

I've looked into it in detail and while I am sure it may help some people, it isn't anything really new and it isn't a "cure". Like so many of the trademarked "Process" treatments, it uses a mixture of techniques, drawing on NLP, etc.

It is worth noting that Ashok Gupta is not a medical doctor.

Okay I know you asked 3 years ago! But very interested if it helped you in anyway???

I bought it but havent done the technique properly yet because the dvd sections are very long and boring! Im just getting to the bit that teaches you the technique after weeks of watching the DVDs, albeit on and off. So far it seems similar to the Lightning Process, which did temporarily help my symptoms about 10 years ago, but LP is hard to keep up with. I think Gupta is better than LP though as it is alot cheaper, it is taught via DVD by the guy who devised it, not some random person, and it seems quite holistic. Also it does not claim to cure you instantly, unlike LP. You are supposed to do Gupta for 6 months and over that time the benefits are supposed to increase.

After ive moved i will continue with it, and report back. X
