Hi my GP did the same to me . When I first started takeing cymbalta it did make me feel spaced out, after a couple of weeks it should ware off. I take it mainly for depression, but it hasn't helped with my pain. Good luck I hope it will work for you. Take care

I've been on Citalopram for more years than I can remember! Must be about 11 years! Is there some problem with taking them long term? Should I see my GP?? XX

I had become more and more tearful etc etc and as I'd been on same dosage for 9 years I asked whether they were still effective after checking my thyroid ( I have hyperthyroidism so any change on thyroid function could be to blame) he decided I might be better with cymbalta as well as anti depressant can help with pain aswell xx so I'm giving them a try x day 2 still a little spaced out but am told that will pass xx
