Yes I have a lot of problems with my feet, they burn and ache, I have plantar fasciitis , the tendon on the inside of my ankles are both ruptured, I have fallen arches, I never had that when I was younger. So yes I have problems with my feet .

Hi

yes me too , my feet and ankles swell and it feels like a chinese burn but i think this is partially a circulation problem

My consultant adviced trianers as they condition the joints , but hardly elegant in the summer with dresses and skirts

i also find my feet change and sandles that fit one year don't fit the next

which means new each time , oh and a new handbag of course , i LOVE handbags but i hate buying shoes etc

take care xx

Funny you should ask just now - I'm off for a podiatry assessment in a couple of hours! X rays have shown I've got OA in my big toes but nothing showing to explain the terrible pains I get in the metatarsal heads and heel pads - as if I'm walking directly on the bones over a bed of gravel. In fact I don't think that description even does it justice. The rheumy consultant asked for the referral a mere three months ago (quick here innit?) when she dropped the bombshell that they misdiagnosed 20 years ago and I didn't have RA at all but OA and fibro. I'm hoping they can sort out some squishy insoles so I can wear my shoes again as I'm currently limited to one pair of trainers and some Toms which one of the GPs at work thought were slippers! If only I could wear slippers all day, bliss ! xx

I get really swollen feet if I walk about for more than 15 mins at a time then it takes 3 days of keeping them upright for the swelling to go down... I wear crocs a lot because they are easy in put on but when my feet get swollen they spill out of the crocs and my ankles become the proverbial cankles..... plus I have no feeling in the heel of my left foot and now my right foot is heading that way too!... the chronic sciatica doesn't help so I spend most days with my feet elevated in my bedroom/craft-room, my fab fella brought all my crafting stuff upstairs and works from home most days cos I fall over alot.... his boss is so understanding..... got sore hands atm too... spent the last few days making wedding invites for a good friends daughter...just got to work out how much to charge her now...

Hi -- My main feet symptoms are numbness, pins and needles, hot or freezing cold, or the worst one is a feeling of what I would describe as "a brick or lead weight" in the soles of my feet!!! Also have varicose veins. No longer can wear high heels -- just wear "flat sensible granny shoes" (my daughter's expression) :) xx

yes i do.I have planter fasciatus and pain that feels like huge blisters on the soles of my feet. Ocasionally i get dead toes too.i try everyday, after my body has loosened up a bit, to massage the soles of my feet which does seem to help keeping pain levels lower. x

Hey there,

Yes, my feet are so painful all the time. I have Alodenia in my legs, from knees down so they are very sensitive to touch, heat, pressure. Sometimes it feels like I have hundreds of tiny broken bones all over the top, that then runs up to my ankles, and they are almost always cold.

I cannot wear dead flat shoes, as this makes it worse, but have found that wearing a variety of different heel heights I am not always putting pressure on the same area.

If I had a magic lamp, one wish would be to have someones soft, gentle hands just stroking and massaging my feet! BLISS :o)

Greetings,

I too have plantar fasciitis and osteoarthritis in my feet. I've been to the foot clinic and the podiatrist but nothing helps. They burn constantly and I am down to 20% movement in my toes. Accupuncture helped the arthritis for a little while after treatment but only for a few days. My feet are also ALWAYS cold, even in summer but my circulation is ok apparently. Just one of those fibro things!

Blessed love

My feet are always HOT! They feel as though I've walked many miles in tight shoes - even when I'm sitting down with slippers on.

My answer to almost any pain is to put a well-wrapped ice-pack on it, and it certainly helps my poor old tootsies - give it a try!

I get a sort of vibrating pulsing feeling in my feet. The sort of feeling you get when your foot has "gone to sleep" and the feeling is just coming back. Its very irritating. I just want to shake them to make the feeling go away, but it doesnt. Its not constant but frequent. I also have OA in my feet (and hands), which is painful.

I have T2 diabetes and suffer with diabetic neuropathy in my feet. Terrible shooting pains, a bit like cramp, in both my feet, lymphoedema in both feet, legs and right arm. My toes ends are becoming worse. I had a hot water bottle on my feet last night but couldn't feel the heat on the tips of my toes. Damn pain in the derriere!!! XX

Do you have heavy legs and ankles too, I do, I've never known if it's to do with the fibro or I'm just unlucky. I think I have poor lymphatic drainage if that's the right words. I don't lose weight in them when I diet they just stay the same. I have pains from the outer edge of my ankles running down between the little toe and next toe to it. I have the same pains running from my shoulders down between my little finger. My arms are heavy set to. I'm not a large lady anywhere else.

Yes at times my feet have hurt so much i didnt know what to do with myself. Ive had planta facsitis. And general pain, my dr refered me to a poditiris but i knew it was fibro. Just another shitty symtom eh amongst all the others lol. I found iceing and heat very helpful.x

I too have planter faciitis , have been to numerous podiatry appointments and was fitted with shoe inserts which do alleviate the pain somewhat. However I bought some skechers tone ups after reading up on what was best to wear with planter. And bingo I now have "heaven feet", now if only I can find a cure for the burning sensation in my feet, and my fibro/me, scoliosis blah blah blah....lol...am also waiting on Physio appointment for some type of ultrasound for the planter, will let you know if it has any helpful affects.Stay safe all...x

Hi, I've not been getting problems with my feet as such but my ankles are giving me trouble. When I get up in the morning they are stiff and painful and I walk like an old woman for a while. I've had fibromyalgia for about 15 years but this has only just started happening a few months ago.
