What is the CFS/Fibromalgia spectrum?
What they mean by 'spectrum' is the whole range of CFS, ME and Fibromyalgia disorders.
They are saying that your symptoms fit the description of Fibromyalgia rather than anything else - though all these conditions have similarities!
Hope this helps!

Just looked this up online wow its pretty mind blowing in technological speak basically it seems to be you can have a diagnosis of cfs you can have a diagnosis of fibro but sometimes you and fit into both categories and it would seem from your letter you fit nearest to having fibro . It's like my son he has Asperger's syndrome which is form of autism and he is classed as being on the autistic spectrum.. Basically saying he has an official diagnosis.. As do you now
Hope that helps even a little

Thanks, yes that helps, similar to what was thinking but always helps to having someone else's opinion too x
They overlap so much, and neither has definitive testing available clinically, so it can be sometimes hard to distinguish between them.
It sounds like the clinic are saying you may need a Fibro clinic.
