When is the best time to tell ESA I've sold my home?

I'm in the process of selling my home - will have to rent somewhere and my benefits will stop. So do I tell them when everything is completed? Thanks

Yup only tell them when you have the money in your bank account... If for some reason the sale falls through and you have to start again that would confuse them beyond belief...

i would wait until all done as things may not go to plan .

i was thinking of doing the same thing in selling my home and renting as we cannot carry on the way things are.

I do not claim ESA though or anything else.

So let us know how things go if you do and what happens, as everyones experience is a helpt to some one else

Thanks for both your responses. Yes, I'm going to wait until the very day the money is in the bank - hopefuly, it goes smoothly.
