Fibro, seratonin and 5-HTP (Griffonia simplicifolia)

Greetings all,

A friend of mine is studying to become a herbal practitioner and came accross this.

It may be good for those who cannot or will not take pharmaceutical medication.

Its funny, I have a paradoxical effect to a lot of medication especially those that are linked to Seratonin in some way, and I found 5-HTP really interferred with my sleep and made me feel much worse. So it isn't good for everyone, but I have heard of people who find it useful.

Thank you for the info xx

Yes I went on 5HTP last year. I tried taking it in the morning and it gave me terrible nausea. Tried it at night and it interfered with my sleep.

Seratonin is mainly stored in the gut. I'm finding that looking after my gut is helping my sleep.
