So yesterday as well as the pain I had an excruciating migraine that meant I couldn't see due to the visual disturbances and the pain in my head was awful
The physio thinks it's the nerve constriction in my neck not helping as I am getting them often.
Well today I feel drained but at least I can see,Hurrah!! x

My fibro is worse in my shoulders upper back and right side of neck, I was getting headaches 3 days out of every 7 when I touch the base of my neck right side it feels like an electric shock. My physio said trapped nerve, when I finally got referred to local pain clinic it was all due to constant muscle spasm. I now have trigger point injections in shoulder and right side of neck every 3 months in over a year have had 3 migraine type headaches instead of one a week... It might be worth asking your gp to refer you to pain clinic one woman I saw there had injections in her head for migraines... They are not very painful you are slightly sore for a day but you can feel the relief of the muscles relaxing in minutes
I myself get migraines so I really feel for you hun. I have Hemiplegic Migraines(they act like a mini stroke)and these can be quite scary at times, you could never be sure if it was the real thing or not. I also suffer with cluster headaches which they say, and I agree, are more painful than a migraine, others who do not get these cluster headaches would disagree. But I would rather have a migraine than cluster headaches. It would be better for you to get checked out to make sure that things are okay and not something trapped somewhere etc. I hope you feel better soon xxxxx
