privately seeing a rhuemy question

i have decided to see a rhuemy privately and just want him to examine me and write down his findings,i have a appoint booked for oct, i have never been private before,the consultation fee is £180, will my examination be included in that price??? any ideas(i know blood tests x-rays etc won't be) surely a examination will be included though???

I am lucky enough to have private health care with hubby. When I have been a consultation usually includes the consultant checking you over and trying to find out what is wrong so I would say yes an examination is included and maybe even a diagnosis.

I've been private when I had a lump in my breast & was too scared to wait for NHS. The fee was £500 included consultation, examination, mammogram, ultra sound scan, & emptying of cyst by syringe! Phew! Worth the money for relief.

I have also seen a rhemy professor privately. He charged £180 consultation fee which does include examination & more for X rays & blood tests, sorry I can't remember how much, long time ago!
