My condition hasnt changed at all since my last medical in fact if anything it has got worse. On bad days, 2-4 in a week I have very poor concentration, no grip in my hands, knocking on doors is painfull, severe headache all day every day, a numb left thigh, sore knees feet ...... cant list everything i would be here all day.
Now of course i have the additional worry whilst waiting for the medical and the out come. I feel a fraud at these medicals, have had 4/5 up to now, especially if i am having a good day.
I dont know, im in a right state......

Only just seen this post sandra, thanks for your thoughts. I havent phoned them and am still attending on saturday. I will point out that nothing has changed since my last assesment so dont see the point of another one so soon- yes i have good days and great days but the bad outweigh the good like everyone else i have spoken to with fm, id love to go to work but it is just impossible.
I just dont understand, when they know you have an INCURABLE illness, and they award you benefit, WHY have you got to keep going back for medicals? Dont they know what INCURABLE means? If they dont, they shouldnt be anywhere near doing what theyre doing. Not to mention the constant added stress caused. OMG, how long is this going to go on for. Ive just reapplied for ESA, Ive been told Ive git it from 15th Aug, but not had a penny yet due to them muckin about with paperwork. I know I'll have to go through the fiasco of medical and maybe appeal again, but I'll keep fighting till all this crazyness stops. I wish you the very best.xx
Many thanks for your comments. Medical on saturday, dreading it, been in a state all week.
Saw a different gp who sent me for ultrasound and and ecg when me and my mum told him one of my symptoms which clearly had been shoved under the fm umbrella, now im in a state waiting for outcome of them tests. The whole system has gone mad. Will see what happens this time
