How can I be diagnosed with Fibromyalgia if I did not have tender points on examination? I have been also diagnosed with ME.

Have they got it wrong and I have myosfacial pain instead..... Thank you for your coments I need to get to the bottom of this.

Hi REflections, I am confused...... did you see your GP or a Rheumatologist ? x x x

The Rheumatologist diagnosed Fibro and GP CFS - x

Hi reflections my GP was 98% sure I had Fibro but referred me to the Rheumatologist to be sure when I saw the Rheumatologist he found that all my tenderpoints to be acute so he said I had severe Fibromyalgia and 15 mths after this I was diagnosed with M.E.

How well was the TP test done? Check this article for the ideal:

It is often not well done, which is partly why it was dropped from the 2010 Diagnostic Criteria for primary care professionals (e.g. GPs) to use.
