ESA assessment results - how long to hear?

Getting on for four weeks since I went for my medical but no word as yet. Would be helpful to know how long others have had to wait.

Hi Caroline i think you had urs the same day as me may 29th i found out the answer and put in wrag group 7 days after, so perhaps urs will be good news fingers crossed for you im just filling in my appeal form now

Yes, mine was the same day. Seems to be a long time to make a decision; just hoping that they haven't contacted me and letter lost in the post. Or that the whole form and report have been 'mislaid' Nothing about ATOS would surprise me!

Not going to contact them though as each week that goes by brings me nearer to my state pension in two years time.

Would like to know before I go away next week though as it does play on my mind however hard I try not to.

I waited 2 weeks for a reply, thankfully it was a positive decsion.

Beginning to wonder why I haven't heard anything yet. I would like to know the outcome.

Given that I am 60 had a letter dated ten years ago from a top consultant at one of London's leading hospitals saying I had to retire from teaching and I had a large number of other letters to show how my condition has deteriorated and that I have developed other health problems I don't see how they can say I am fit to work but it would be nice to know in case I have to appeal. The stress of waiting is not helping me.

I hope you hear soon caroline, They don't appreciate the stress it causes, which leads to a flare. This goverment don't care, they are bullies praying on the vulnerable....better get off my soap box, because what this gaverment makes me so angry...I am already in a flare x
