Hi, I didn't and don't thanks, but did you know that The British Red Cross offer a loan scheme for wheelchairs? Also your doctor can refer you to your local hospital for a loan of a wheelchair - do both as hospital take a while - neither cost anything although Red Cross would appreciate a donation.

Also, if you have any unwanted medical equipement, they would be very grateful. I know because I asked last year.
