FMS and insurance claims

I know a lot of people developed FMS after an accident. Just wondering has anyone had an insurance payout for it,

Hi tiddlyf, i saw your question yesterday and see unfortunately it doesn't seem as though anyone has, i just didn't want you to feel ignored : )

you didnt say whether this is something you are considering, but perhaps its something you could enquire through a solicitor or the CAB or, Law society who give free legal advice.

Because FM goes undiagnosed in many many patients for so long, my guess that it would be a very difficult thing to prove when anyone's FM actually started and whether it was due to an accident or it's just one of many of those unfortunate conditions that we have just developed over time.

My guess is, and this is just my opinion, that if if it was possible to determine when it first started there would be loads of people making claims.

My rheumatologist wasnt able to say when or what he thought caused me to have the condition, was yours? xx
