Does anyone know what happens if you are passed as fit to work - does this mean they stop payment of IB/ESA even if you are going to appeal?
I cannot make any sense of their blurb on the website.
Thanks

if you appeal they carry on paying you at the lower rate of EsA at least they did last yaer when my hubby had to appeal 2x & won each appeal!
poppy xx
I believe they still pay you while your appeal is active, at least that's what happened to me, I think the whole WRB is changing that entirely but isn't in force quite yet in regards to appeals. But don't quote me on that.
My Mate has just appealed for ESA after they said he was fit for work. They paid him low rate. his just won and its his 2nd time of winning an appeal. xxx
i was on work related esa after 365 days it stops and i am now entitled to nout.....whilst on this i had to attend back to work interviews at the job centre and they give you guidance on how to find a job thats good for your needs. I consider myself unemployable now, i wouldnt employ me so i wouldn't expect anybody else to
good luck x
