does anyone else get pain in their scalp

i get pain in my scalp it feels like all my hair is being pulled eachand every strand its really uncomfatable and makes it painfull to brush style or have anything done to my hair due to this i dont get my hair styled very often does any one lse get this and is there anything i can do so its not so painful

hi lyn,i get stabbin pain in my scalp but it has only recently start.mines like a needle been stuck in to to mi ed all over.i warm a towel in dryer then put it on mi ed,it seemst elp xx

Hi lynn, i get that feeling that my hair has been pulled out too, but it does go and then come back, its really strange and i get the stabbing pains too.

Hi lynn, yep i get that too, it happens alot. If i brush/move my hair, it really hurts. My hair was rather long, middle of my back and is naturally curly so takes a lot of care. I have had to cut it short, it was getting to the point just having it up hurt.

I use to straighten it all the time, but this also hurts. So only tend to now if I am going out. I have a hot bath and just relax with my scalp in the water, this gives a bit of relief, take care lou x

My scalp does have tender areas but the worse thing for me is the intense itching, it feels like something crawling - and no, I dont have nits lol. The itch feels as though it is under my skin and it gets extremely irritating on times. Take care, Angela xx

I have the same problem and others don't understand. It's the hair turning back into scalp like if it's been sewn in so weird x

Yes! I had very long hair and I chalked this up to my hair having been cut badly with too many layers so I cut it to see if I got some relief. No dice. My hair line has been depleted of at least two or more inches around my whole face/forehead in the course of only about six months. Thank you for your post, it is such a blessing! I pray you get the help you need soon.

P.S. My hair feels like it has been tightened to the point of exploding out of my head and then ping! they are violently pulled out, with no help from me. Sewn in, that is the greatest explanation!

I just want to show someone what's happening when I pull strands out sometimes they feel wet especially at the front. If someone wants to experiment my scalp more than welcome to because I know it will solve problems for others who can relate, most people shrug it off as its not heard of. X

I totally understand sweetie 🙂.I have shaved my hair off and have for a few years. Not pretty but I don't care.
