I'm on Baclofen for my jumpy legs. My mum (whose doesn't have fibro but still has jumpy legs) is on Pramipexole. Both are good. x

Hi i was on quinine but my doctor has stopped it because apparently there is no clinical proof that it works and since i have stopped it i havent had any Restless legs ? Go to your GP there are other meds that are available on prescription, good luck, i know how bad it can get and sympathise with you x

For my restless legs i use Voltarol Pain-eze Emulgel very effective. I start from the tops of my feet, ankles, up my legs, knees and higher if needed. Hope you find this helpful. x

I had an awful episode of restless body syndrome a few weeks ago. My entire body felt like every nerve ending was screaming its so hard to explain to people that you just can't stop the shaking. My poor stress toy at work was torn to shreds! I've had restless legs before but nothing like this, this was head to toe. My Dr gave me a weeks worth of prozac and it really did work. I wouldn't recommend for long term RLS but to get you over a particularly bad episode it worked like a dream with me. x

Pramipexole. If your condition is really bad and can be around the clock, there is a slow release version. Go and see your doctor ,don't suffer

I have suffered terribly from RLS however quite a few years ago I started taking 3 x 150 mg of magnesium tablets at night. Magnesium is a muscle relaxant and works very quickly. As long as you take them every night the problems seems to stay away. I hope this helps.

The best thing I find helps me is putting them onto the Ice packs that go into the freezer.. Or walking on a cold floor.. This helps me, but it might not work for others... Also I have heard that Quinine helps..
