God I envy all you lovely people who are able to get out and about, albeit for a short while. My pain is so bad now cant even sit in the car to be taken out.Only relief is lying in bed and taking my painkillers. So envious of you all but pleased for you at the same time. Went out in the back garden today yipee!! the sun was shining and that in itself is a tonic. Would love to go to town and just mooch around the shops but am afraid those days are now long gone. Have tried but after about 10 minutes cant stand pain and have to get hubby to take me home. Dont m ind him going by himself now as its not fair to deprive him of his liberty just because mine has been taken from me. So good luck to you all and get out and enjoy yourselves as much as you can and bugger the housework it will still be there tomorrow. Hope I dont struck off now for using this expletive.ha ha!!!!

Aw bless you dont be silly you wont be struck off we all sometimes write things like that when it really gets to you , could you not get a wheelchair and then your partner would be able to take you out it would do you the worldof good you could go to the supermarket/ you could be taken anywhere the garden centre your high street , in fact supermarkets now all have wheelchairs and such in their foyah's 9not spelt right) you really should give it a go and if you feel this is going to be permanenet why dont you purchase your own wheel chair you can get them from your local disabillity shop/ argos do them or even e bay i am sure that it would make you feel so much better in yourself being out. also you could get a motorbillity scooter and then if you wished you can go out on your own you wpuld be able to do what you want when you want , hope you can do this and i think it would give you new lease of life, love to you diddle x

Thanks for that Diddle. You are so right. Have been thinking about a wheelchair for some time now but dont know what it is thats holding me back., vanity or finally giving in to this illness. Feel a wheelchair would really put the top hat on it and dont know how my husband would feel me around, haven;t really discussed it with him but I will do. A scooter is out of the question because I have agrophobia so just walking to the end of the road would terrify me. We're like Alf Garnett and his missus now so goodness knows what we'd be like if I get a wheelchair .(think he'd find the steepest hill and let me go.ha ha). Suns shining today so I might just, only might, try and get out. This pain and fibro fog doesn't help. Still at 75 what should I expect? this old age is no fun. It would be if I didn't have all these additional things. Feel 18 in the head, look as fit as a fiddle but feel as though I just want to roll over and go asleep. Going into the kitchen now and have a tidy up till pain gets too bad. Not taken a single tablet today, trying to knock them off as I dont think they help with the old grey matter. I tell a lie, had 5mg. Diazepam, but been taking that since I had my youngest daughter who is 52. Had post natal depression and was put on Valium so its part of my chemical make up now. Anyway Diddle getting carried away now and once I start, with not seeing anyone, I forget to stop and go on and on. Will give your suggestion serious thougt..

Cheers.
