Hi, try not to worry I think it takes approx 6 weeks and if your claim is successful it will be back dated. I personally waited 6 weeks. Hope this helps and good luck😊

I was awarded it yes, might be an idea to look on their website? The info on there will be more accurate than what I'm saying and because of Covid there rules etc will have changed within government guide lines.😊

Hi, I see you only had your assessment 4 weeks ago. This is not a long time to wait to be honest. Also with all the pandemic there could be a large back log and maybe a longer wait time. I would say if you've not heard within the next few weeks give them a call.

Try not to worry. Worrying will not speed things up i'm afraid. I know trying not to worry is very hard. But it wont change the outcome. Fingers crossed you get the outcome your expecting 🤞🤞

My advise would have been to wait till your MR is finished and see the outcome before reporting a new condition during the MR stage If you had been sucessful then you could have done a change of circumstances and if unsuccessful you could have reapplied

Hello, you can request a copy of your assessment report and on receiving it you can work out what your award may should be but you still have to wait till the official confirmation award notification letter arrives. But being in receipt of your assessment report if the recommend award is not what you deserve or expected then you have extra time to formulate your MR submission with any extra information, evidence to support your MR.

Hi, they have a back log. I submitted my application on the 24th of November last year and it's only today I have received an appointment letter for an assessment over the phone for next week . Otherwise, I had no other communication from them.

Hello that’s nothing to worry about, have you phoned the DWP and enquired if they have your application form and what is the possible date of an assessment. You may be informed that your application has been sent to the assessment company so they will contact you with an assessment date in due course. Now that things are getting back to normality face to face assessments may start to happen again.

My daughter suddenly had money in her bank but it took nearly 8 weeks so give them another 3 weeks before ringing them

You can just mind about everything what you have done in your application form how your disability or medical condition is affected you, just explaining what you can and can't do, don't worry
