They can provide guidelines on how to apply for pip

However, for actual help with completing the form you will need to contact someone like citizens advice, or local authority welfare rights officer

I think the most important thing is to back everything up with evidence. I've been on PIP for years and tried to get a review because I've recently also been diagnosed with ASD (After trying for years). My claim was rejected and cancelled with 0 points for everything. They claimed I didn't have an official diagnosis for fibromyalgia (I only had the doctor's agreement)

I now have to collect evidence to get a mandatory reconsideration for that and all the other conditions I have which they ignored or didn't agree that it affected my day-to-day life.

Hello, when applying for PIP do a self test first using the free self test on the benefits and site, by taking the test and being totally honest about your abilities you will have a good indexation of how your award may be. When filling in the application form go slowly and think about each activity and if you have difficulty or need help or assistance or you struggle with any of the activities, descriptors then give the reasons why you require help,support,assistance giving examples of what has or dose happen when you do,try or attempting each activity. Remember that the answers you submitted in the application form will have to be justified at your phone assessment or face to face assessment when resumed. If you need extra space send in extra information marking each page with your NI number and your name plus the descriptors or a to you writing about. You maybe able to type your extra information and print and send. Send all records of diagnosis,hospital report’s .
