I know the answer! I cannot cope, challenging yourself does not make any difference either. Generally pain is my enemy but if in a better mood I let it live with me.

Sorry for not having any practical advice ☀️

Morning, sorry to read of your fibro pain it’s horrid , I must admit if pain etc gets too much , I tend to go rest up as if I try and keep going it makes my day much worse, I have my bath and soak to relax muscles and get comfy after on my bed, I use my codiene on heavy pain days as takes the edge off, I’m not good on taking over the counter meds ie paracetamol as makes me feel sick too many mixtures, doc prescribes the codiene as long as it’s not used all the time (which I don’t) I do find heat like my hot water bottle /heat bag helps, my areas are always neck , back , calf muscles are the worst. Xxx

My heating pad is the only thing that helps my pain and let's me sleep, but I ended up burning my back with it. I had it on the lowest setting and it went off after 2 hours. Also, I never felt it burning. My husband just said... Oh my gosh! What happened to your back! Went to doctor and they said it was burned and that I can't use heating pads anymore until it's gone. It has been a month and no change. Now I have trouble sleeping, staying asleep. So be careful not to burn yourself. Best of luck to you!

Hi :-) Analyzing & targeting the pains, plus osteopathy, got me a long way, almost down.

Whole body cryotherapy, cold showers and Wim Hof's breathing exercise, finding the invisible moving sweet spots of every activity against the ache.
