Hi lovelies I’m wondering what is going on (actually this is always)😂. I applied for pip back in September 2019, I had an interview set up for December but was cancelled by them. I had my interview in January 2020. It has now been 7 weeks and I haven’t had a response 🤷♀️
I had a txt on the 10th saying the information had been given to them for them to make a decision.
About 2 weeks ago I had a letter to say they now had all the information they needed to make a decision.
I then sadly have had an upsetting meeting and I am having to be redeployed as I am unable to do my job.
I contacted them to update them.
Would this have made a difference? Dise it mean from the letter I received it’s 6weeks from then?
If I do get awarded it when will it be backdated from? As I am aware this has been going on 5 months now
Thanks in advance

With the DWP you never know what is going on. With the update you gave them , it could confuse them and may delay the decision. I would keep phoning to see what’s happening with your claim. Good luck 😉. Xx
While you’re waiting you can request a copy of the medical assessment you have had in Jan from DWP, this may give you an idea also see where you may need to argue/ collect other medical evidence. Good luck
Hello, you can phone DWP and request a copy of your assessment report then you can see what your award may should be but you still have to wait for the official notification letter from the DWP.
I am afraid that it is a wait and see with the DWP. There is a backlog in some areas and as others have suggested the only thing you can do is keep ring. As to speak to a case manager or decision maker. Also ask for a copy of your report. It will give a good idea on how many points you gained.
